So once we find causes, we come to a conclusion. A conclusion that this is a journey that we need to complete on our own. No friends, no foes. Just you, all alone.
You are the reason of your joy and undoubtedly you are the reason for your sorrows. Others are just catalysts. You are your own rider.
And this drives me to say,
'I' Can Never Be 'WE'
I step out of my doorway on the street,
I walk across the houses giving no responses to those who greet.
Ahead of me I see my alley,
I see the mountains, I see the valley.
I see the people, the same path who walk,
Despite of congruent avenues, the fact that we're strangers is a matter of shock.
I see the river and how spontaenously it flows,
I see the birds and how each second their distance from me grows.
I see each thing, I see the world,
I walk to the infinite but there's still one thing I cannot unwhirl.
However hard I try to look for it at the prow,
My shadow, never does itself it endow.
That is when I discern that there is factually nothing that I can see,
And that I am always I and can never be WE.
There is so much in the world with life and without,
Yet ultimately our life is a severe drought.
Everything and everyone comes and goes,
But there's nothing and no one with you on your journey who flows.
This makes me realize that attachment is the world's biggest sin,
And blissful is the one, on this fact who can manage to keep a grin.
A lesson for life I learn today,
To live with myself each moment and cease the day.
And hence I break free of all virtual ties,
Embrace myself and beyond the limits fly.
